Welcome to our latest venue, in the quaint city of St. Albans. A leading independent school with loads of history. The venue has great sports facilities and nice outdoor areas for all children attending our kid’s camp (Ofsted No. EY543928).
St Albans School is an independent school in the city of St Albans in Hertfordshire. Founded in 948 by Wulsin, St Albans School is not only the oldest school in Hertfordshire but also one of the oldest in the world, recognised as a “traditional public school, with a rich history”.
The school is situated in the historic centre, opposite the Cathedral and Abbey Church of St Alban. The Abbey and School are built on a hillside, which slopes down to Verulamium Park, with its fields, sports pitches and lakes all sit within the truly beautiful grounds.
The school has the largest school playing fields development in the UK and gives the school unrivalled benefits for sports and activities. The School has 19 winter pitches and 7 cricket pitches, an artificial surface for tennis and hockey, as well as netball courts. Indoors there is a sports hall and a superb indoor swimming pool for use on our holiday camps.
