Preparing for work with Kings Camps

Training

As part of our commitment to staff training, we’ll be equipping all staff for their roles and responsibilities via 3 compulsory steps:

  1. Updated online learning. If you haven’t yet worked in 2021, please complete all modules you have been enrolled onto and print your Safeguarding and Looking After Children certificates to display on site.  
  2. Video training for all coaching positions, in person training for all Managerial positions (details below)
  3. On site induction day at your venue (details below)

Interactive Video Training

All coaching staff, including swim teachers, will be required to attend a one-hour interactive online training session with our team, you will need to have completed your online learning modules in advance.

Invites will be set up for all dates above via Microsoft Teams, you will need to accept the invite and login with your full name and be ready to participate! 


What to prepare for Induction 

All staff (new and returning) are expected to attend an on site induction. You will be paid for attending and it forms part of your contract. Here you will meet your staff team, have your site orientation, and have a whole camp run through before the season begins.

All induction days for October 21 are listed below. Each induction day will run from 9:30am-1:30pm unless otherwise stated.

*Induction dates and times for residential opportunities will be on the Sunday and you should be prepared to travel on Saturday afternoon or early Sunday morning. Please speak to our team prior to arrival.
