The Promotions Assistant is responsible for assisting the Promotions Co-ordinator in delivering the Kings Camps in-persons promotions programme across the UK.
This programme aims to get 14,000 children Active in 2018 and increase awareness of Kings Camps.
Contact Schools, Event Organisers and Councils to organise in-person promotional events.
Support the recruitment, training and organisation of promotional associates to deliver Active Play experiences at schools and events around the UK.
Find opportunities to deliver Active Play experiences in priority areas across UK.
Assist with UK and South Africa leaflet distribution campaign.
Directly deliver local promotions and Active Play experiences around the UK.
Organise and monitor initiatives delivered by promotional associates.
Engage with more schools and councils to promote Kings Camps.
Assist in delivery and development of Active Play model.
Maintain good relationship with Kings Camps venues and maximise opportunities to promote Kings Camps with prioritised venues.
Measure ROI by monitoring the effect that promotional sales activities has on camp bookings.
Provide reporting on all promotional activities.
Monitor and report on sales performance from new and existing partnerships
Promote in-person events via social media in collaboration with promotions coordinator.
Provide support on UK Based Kings Camps during Easter and summer school holidays.
Conditions of Work
Based at Sheffield Head Office
Temporary contract ending August 31st
Weekly hours: 37.5 hours Mon-Fri within 8am-6pm. Activity delivery will involve extended hours and regular weekend work.
Report directly to Promotions Coordinator with monthly 1:1 meetings
Ideal Personal Specification
2-3 Years’ experience in a role working with children and young people.
A full UK Driving License.
A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a customer service role.
High level of verbal and written communication with attention to detail.
