UK: Head of Recruitment

About the Role

The Head of Recruitment is responsible for recruiting around 600 people for seasonal internal programmes and 400 people for seasonal external contracts

Key Responsibilities

      1. Manage
        1. Plan and manage pipelines for internal programme and external contract personnel
        2. Marketing and promotions plan and budget
        3. Internal programme volume targets, qualification and experience requirements and schedules
        4. External recruitment contract volume targets, qualification and experience requirements and schedules
        5. Safeguarding requirements and fulfilment
        6. Work with marketing personnel to ensure recruitment marketing campaigns are effective and resulting in high numbers and relevant applicants
        7. New and existing external recruitment contracts
        8. Management information and reports
        9. Line-manage Recruitment and Contract personnel
      2. Recruit
        1. Work with Head of Operations to assess, recruit and appoint returner contracts
        2. Oversee and direct Recruitment Team to undertake a high volume of candidate interviews via telephone and Skype
      3. Contract
        1. Work with the Staff Contracts Manager to ensure staff contract targets are achieved
        2. Work with the Staff Contracts Manager to ensure staff quality, scheduling and budget requirements are met
        3. Work with the Safeguarding Team to ensure our safeguarding requirements and standards are met throughout the recruitment and contracting process

     

    Ideal Personal Specification

    • At least 2 years recruitment experience, preferably in a high-volume recruitment environment
    • Significant management experience
    • Ambitious
    • Friendly and highly personable
    • Fully supportive of the mission and values of the Kings Foundation

    Conditions of Work / Apply

    • Based at Sheffield Head Office with UK travel
    • Office hours: 37.5 hours Mon-Fri within 8am-6pm. Recruiting young people often involves evening or weekend work
    • Report directly to Chief Executive Officer
    • Annual performance review
    • Salary: £36,00 – £40,000
