European Holiday Camp Base Courier
European holiday camp base couriers are responsible for the teenagers service 'Base' and to plan, promote, organise and deliver the afternoon and evening activities for teenagers. Sports and activity sessions will comprise a variety of different sports including volleyball, football and tennis, together with team building activities, games and competitions. On some camp sites, base couriers must provide whole family sports and social events and activities both on and off site.
Base couriers must provide a first class service to all customers, both teenagers and families, offering freedom and fun, through a varied programme of sports and activities and must also provide support for the team leader.

Base Courier - Skills Match
- Ideal candidates will have sports coaching experience in at least 2 sports and have a minimum Level 1 sports qualification.
- Experience of working with children and teenagers is essential, along with a high level of customer service, motivation, commitment and excellent organisational skills.
- Having a current First Aid qualification will significantly increase the chance of selection.
- Applicants must be available to work uninterrupted for the full season (June to September).

Base Courier - Duties & Responsibilities
- To plan, prepare and deliver general sport and activity sessions suitable for teenagers.
- To
research and investigate off site venues and suppliers for sports and activities,
ensuring that they adhere to the specified health and safety guidelines.
- To plan a weekly programme of sport and activity and events to the guidelines provided.
- To ensure that the facilities and equipment are available to operate the planned activities.
- To
successfully promote the Base service to customers, including
visiting newly arrived customers and teenagers to introduce yourself
and the service.
- To exercise care and safe practice when offering these services.
- To evaluate the success of the activities and to research new activities to meet the teenager requirements.
- To manage a weekly budget, completing the accounts paper work accurately and on time.
- To submit neat and accurate reports and paperwork to a senior staff member as required.
- To act as a point of contact for other campsite organised events.
- To assist with Fun Station sessions as and when required.
- To remain flexible at all times with regards to duties and working hours.
