Yachts of Seabourn cruise ship youth programme leader is responsible for the planning, preparation and delivery of the onboard children’s programme, which includes a range of fun activities and sports to a group of children aged between 4 to 17yrs. The onboard children’s programme activity sessions include a wide variety of activities including everything from sports and games to arts and crafts, team building and drama games.

Cruise ship youth programme leaders also have involvement with other duties on board the cruise ships such as embarkation and disembarkation, muster station duties, welcome shows and greeting families.

Cruise Ship Youth Programme Leader - Skills Match 

  • Candidates must be 21 years of age or over with an ability to manage and motivate a staff team.
  • Ideal candidates will be educated or working towards a HND/degree in a childcare related or hold at least two NGB sports coaching qualifications and with at least two years of sports coaching experience with children aged 4-17 years.
  • Experience of working with children of all ages is essential, along with a high level of customer service, motivation, commitment and excellent organisational skills.
  • Applicants must be British Citizens and those with a C1D visa are desirable.

    Cruise Ship Youth Programme Leader - Duties & Responsibilities

    • Cruise ship youth programme leaders are responsible for planning, preparing and delivering a range of sports and activities for groups of children aged between 4 and 17.
    • Cruise ship youth programme leaders will assist with on board duties including embarkation/disembarkation, muster station, welcome shows, greeting parents.
    • Welcome and get to know children in your group, ensuring that their enjoyment is your prime concern. Care for and encourage the children on board this luxury cruise ship and integrate any unhappy children into the group activities.
    • Ensure the health and safety of children in your care.
