The very best Work Experience opportunities for young people in sport and childcare
As an educational charity our mission is to develop young people by giving them skills through experience. The King’s Foundation has 20 years experience providing children’s multi-activity programmes and young people development in the UK, Europe and Africa. We operate day camps at 45 sites throughout the UK as well as providing many international opportunities.
How our Work Experience Positions work

Work experience students work alongside our experienced staff teams on children’s multi-activity and specialist camp programmes. You will receive feedback and guidance regarding your performance and benefit from an excellent support network. The positions are two weeks in length, and upon successful completion of the programme it is likely you will be offered paid work.
There are two work experience opportunities – Assistant Coach for those more interested in sports coaching, and Play Worker for those more interested in child-care.
Who our Work Experience positions are for
Our Work experience positions are ideal for those graduating from the King’s Camps Rookie Sports Leaders Award, or for individuals that are new to working with children and who want to gain valuable experience in sports coaching or childcare.
One of the best things about work experience is that you don't need to have any previous experience of working with children or any coaching qualifications - we'll provide you with all the experience you need.
