National Awards Night 2016

Last Saturday it was our absolute pleasure to host 150 of our top-performing coaches at our 6th National Awards which culminated in 3 major awards – Red Top of the Year, won by Ryan Taff for taking Archery Tag to kids camps across the UK, Manager of the Year won by Rachel Ashworth for her work at Cambridge, St Andrew’s and Sheffield camps and Camp of the Year won by Plymouth.

Each year we employ hundreds of your professionals for school holiday camps across the UK to inspire children to get active. We had loads of nominations and recommendations from parents telling us of coaches who vastly improved children’s confidence and our panel of judges used a range of criteria and evidence to reach our conclusions.

As an organisation we believe it’s important to celebrate our successes and although the event is costly, we believe it’s right to go out of our way to say thank you to the young people that work so hard to be role-models and heroes to the children they get active, having fun and learning together on our camps.

Our winners celebrated long into the night along with their peers and our HQ team, it was a fantastic way to finish 3 months of summer camps and we now turn our attention to our October season.

Thank you to the hundreds of young people that deliver our front-line programmes, we look forward to welcoming more of you to the organisation soon…
